Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat
About TOTS-EAT
Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat (TOTS-EAT) is the International Thespian Society’s annual nationwide community service initiative. In 2016, 244 troupes collected and distributed over 292,000 pounds of food for their neighbors in need.
This was the first year for the Adena High School Thespian Troupe #8026 to participate in the community service project. We set up collection points in both the elementary office and the middle and high school office, and we collected door-to-door during Trick-or-Treat night in Frankfort. Through the generosity of the Warrior Nation, we collected 536 pounds of canned goods in one evening, which were donated to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry in Chillicothe, Ohio, to help those in need throughout Ross County.
